George Pettit

George Pettit is a Canadian musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire, formed in 2001 in St. Catharines, Ontario. The band is recognized for its blend of melodic elements with intense hardcore punk, contributing significantly to the genre's evolution in the early 2000s. Alexisonfire's self-titled debut album, released in 2002, received critical acclaim and helped establish them as a prominent force in the Canadian music scene. Their follow-up albums, including "Watch Out!" (2004) and "Crisis" (2006), featured notable tracks like "This Could Be Anywhere in the World" and "Boiled Frogs," further solidifying their reputation.
